Is there a 2nd gen ipod touch?

When will a second gen ipod ouch come out. What will it have over the first one. Thanks...

The secound generation ipod touch will come out either late august or september.  I would strongly recomend getting the 2nd generation if your thinking about buying one right now.  My reason is, the first generation is just as obsolte as any the previous ipods.  For example.  Compare the first generation ipod nano to the new ipod generaion.
