Is there a 37" or larger LCD or DLP TV that has a total width 37" or less?

My entertainment cabinet has an opening of 37" W by 50" H.

Yes, many if not most of the 37" LCD TVs are less than 37" wide. None of these TVs will challenge your height requirement.

Panasonic TC-37LZ85 - 36.7"

Sony KDL-37XBR6 - 36.3"

Sony KDL-37M4000 - 36.8"

Sony KDL-37M3000 - 36.3"

Sony KDL-37L4000 - 36.8"

Samsung LN-37A450 - 36.1"

Sharp LC-37D62U - 36.2"

Anything with side mounted speakers like the Samsung LN-37A330 will be too wide!
