Is there a 'camera etiquette' when taking photos of people in India?

Is it rude? Is it normal to tip of you take photos of people? Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!!

  1. Just ask them before taking pictures thats all.


  2. Asking permission from the people is a basic courtesy that should be followed . Be careful when you take pictures in Religious places and bathing "ghats" by riverside. These are sensitive areas.

  3. If you are taking picture of some people , take their permission first.Don't just start clicking them before asking their permission.
