Question:

Is there a 'good' time to go to the bank?

I have 70+ dollars in change and I would like to get it converted into bills. I know counting it out would take a while, so I want to go at a time the bank won't be busy (so I'd not making anyone later or anything). Is there a good time to go?

  1. Go to the CoinStar machine and dump your change in that. They take about 5 cents out of every dollar cashed out.

  2. go to your local Stop & Shop or Shaws maket or any store near you. They have machines where you dump the coins and you get a receipt then you take that receipt and give it to the cashier or clerk and he/she will give you currency(bills). is that easy!!! don't waste your time at the bank

  3. Why don't you go to the bank first and get some coin roll wrappers?  You can then have the money already rolled and it won't take as long at the window.

  4. Don't go to a coinstar if you have a bank.

Anyway, almost every bank I have been to uses an automatic change counting machine. It will be no hassle at all. They just dump the change into a machine and it counts it and gives them a number. Go whenever is best for you.
