Is there a 'halal' term for vegetarian char siew (made of gluten)?

Char Siew is pork in chinese. I need a term that could replace char siew/pork to make it less disencouraging. By the way, I know whats halal and whats vegetarian. I need help with suitable terms. Thank you^^

  1. It's either halaal or not halaal. Look in the quran for what is considered halaal and not halaal. And use your own logic.


  2. well all veggies and seafood are halal

    its only meat and chicken that u have to be careful with, ask the waiter if you are in a restaurant or check the labels.

  3. If it's vegetarian it's halal. Halal has to do with animal products.

    Vegetarian = No animal product
