Is there a 'halal' term for vegetarian char siew (made of gluten)?

Char Siew is pork in chinese. I need a term that could replace char siew/pork to make it less disencouraging. By the way, I know whats halal and whats vegetarian. I need help with suitable terms. Thank you^^

It's either halaal or not halaal. Look in the quran for what is considered halaal and not halaal. And use your own logic.

its only meat and chicken that u have to be careful with, ask the waiter if you are in a restaurant or check the labels.

If it's vegetarian it's halal. Halal has to do with animal products.

Vegetarian = No animal product
