  1. I have a 2004 Chrysler Crossfire Sports Car. It has a Summer/Winter button on it that switches it from rear wheel drive to All-Wheel drive. It did well in the snow last year and gets around good in the rain. I drove it to Gulf Shores, AL from Clinton, IN (758 miles) and I got 27 mpg. I think thats pretty good. Its for sale!

  2. Try a hybrid. The Toyota Prius is pretty popular and has great mileage.

  3. look at toyota Rav4, they get aroud 22-25 mpg and they are all wheel drive, and Gerri R i would get rid of that ford ranger, i have an 87 1/2 ton chevy  thats lifted with big tires, and i also have a V8 with 400hp and i get around 18 mpg in 2wd and about 14 in 4wd, and i dont p***y foot it around, you are getting screwed with that ford!!

  4. I think the Suzuki SX4 is probably the one. It's a small car with a 4 cyl motor and, yes, you can get it with all wheel drive. 28mpg Highway.

  5. Good luck finding such a car or truck!

I have a 2003 Ford Ranger 4x4. It gets 18 MPG when in 2 WD. In 4WD I only get about 9 MPG! And that is a small truck!

I don't consider it good mileage, unless it gets around a minimum of 31MPG. Even that is not good unless you get that in 4 WD. Thirty One MPG is still nothing to brag about at all any way, considering, there are some cars out there that get 40 MPG. My supervisor at work has a car that gets 31 MPG and he says he is still at the gas station a lot!

I think it is Honda that has a fuel cell car. I don't know exactly how it works, but it doesn't use gas at all!

I am waiting for the day when we don't have to pay to put any thing in our cars at all to make them go. There is no excuse for making us pay for any thing to put in them now, we can use solar cars or some thing! Thank the a** holes in govt, OPEC, auto industry, etc.

  6. I would look into Subaru's and maybe some Audi's. They both have AWD and can be available in a small displacement 4 cylinder engines and some have turbo's for added power without losing fuel efficiency.

I would avoid any trucks or SUV's if your worried about gas.

  7. Yup a 1980-1999 toyota pickup truck

  8. I guess not.
