  1. There is even a 1080 degree kic.But it's not used in tourney's and not every TKD school teaches it.

  2. It's a very hard kick to do, the goal is to spin 1 and 1/2 times in the air while landing on the foot that your kicking with. It's sort of like a 360 or tornado kick, just most schools don't teach it.

  3. Not exactly.  540 degree rotation would start facing your opponent, then spin 1 and 1 half times.  You won't generate any additional rotational force by spinning so much, so there isn't a "540 kick" per se.  What you do see quite commonly is a combo that uses the same rotation to deliver multiple kicks.

Think of it like this: Start  in a "boxer's stance" with your left leg forward.  Deliver a roundhouse kick with your right. (180 degrees of rotation so far.) Now comes a spinning side kick with the left - continuing the same rotational direction (360 degrees of rotation have happened.)  Last, deliver a flying roundhouse with the right foot, continuing the rotation and ending your combo.  You've spun 540 degrees delivering a 3 kick combo.  This is just one of many possible combinations that gets you the 540 rotation.

    Hope that helps.

  4. I use a skateboard.

  5. The 540 is taught in some schools, sometimes it is called a "turning inside kick."

It is like a hurricane round house kick, but you land on the kicking foot after rotating 540 degrees.  It's sick, but very hard to do.

Here's how to do it from an expert

  6. The most that I have ever heard of in 360 degrees, but If you can preform a 540 kick, go for it.
