Is there a Christian video game available that i can buy??

All the video games these days are full of such violence of such that im wondering is there such a good video out there which i can buy for my kids??

Assassin's creed on the PS3 and xbox 360 is a great christian game, it will teach your kids about what the holy land looked like back in the years 1191 AD and the way of life back in those times, along with teachings of a few other stuff. :-)

A Chritian Video Game, really, I mean reaaaaaeeeeeeeeellly,??? Really, Come on Really. Okay unless you have a wii you probably wont get a game that isn't THAT violent but really really get it together really

As long as you don't buy 15 or 18 they usually don't have anything really bad in them. For no violence you are looking at games for little kids (3-8 sort of range) If you get racing games there is no violence (Ridge racer and gran turismo are good). You can get sports games which shouldn't have violence in. Depending on the system also depends on what games you can get. Harvest Moon, nintendogs and animal crossing are good as well as games similar to them.

Research "The Bible Game" on ebay if you have a PS2.  If you have a Gamecube or Wii, games like Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon are great games for younger kids, but it requires reading.

It all depends on how old your kids are. I would look at the games like pokemon, Harvest Moon, and animal crossing. If you are talking about older kids, and nonviolent games?? whew will be hard, stick with Madden or NBA games, or maybe SIMS? lol (also depends on your gaming platform and what games it offers)

I doubt there is a christian genre within video games. It will be best to go into a video game shop and ask for their recommendations.

sports games, but the best games r the violent ones.......the other ones r all c**p.....let them get the violent ones...its not like they r gonna go on a killing spree

There actually is a game called "The Bible Game". it's a bit cartoony and your kids will help the characters from the bible to help solve problems and the like.

There aren't many games specifically about or for Christians, but there are lots of games that don't have violence. Those with violence usually have higher age ratings and warning symbols (like the one with the clenched fist) on the back.

Depending on their age, a Nintendo DS might be a good idea with games such as Harvest Moon DS, Pokémon, Digimon World, Diddy Kong Racing, Sonic Rush and Super Mario 64 DS. If you're not one of the die-hard 'everything supernatural is evil' Christians then Disgaea DS is a good one too, comic violence only, no blood or swearing, a story about demons, humans, angels, love and friendship. There are also Disgaea versions for the PS2 and PSP.

For the PC I suppose there are lots of educational type games, but those are only for very young children.

A few people have recommended the bible game. While this would fit in with the Christian bit, it's apparently a terribly boring game. Remember that the main purpose of games is usually fun.

best way to look at games is there rating anything R rated is going to have violence in it best is to check the box read up on  the games ask questions to the person selling the games   .
