Is there a Flickr-like program available to allow me to sort and filter images on my hard drive?

Basically, rather than folders and file names, I want to sort and filter my images by tags and other data. Are there any (preferably free) programs around for doing that?

Your best bet would undoubtedly be Faststone Image Viewer available from http://www.faststone.org/FSViewerDetail.... . It's a freeware program with a excellent interface and huge capabilities. You say that it is for online stuff, but you want to organize your hard drive.
