Is there a French (or any language...) word that sounds anything like "vanquerétte"?

  1. I did fine "vaquer," which is like "vacation." Theoretically, you could add "-ette" to it, to make it sound smaller and cuter... but it's not a noun, so that wouldn't really work.

    And "vaquero" means "denim" in Spanish. But they don't use "-ette," they use "-ito" or "-illo."

    Italian doesn't even have anything close.

    Portuguese has "vaquerio," which means "to vaccinate."

    I'm not finding anything that starts with "van" that goes in that direction, though. Sorry.

    I wouldn't worry too much about it anyway - dreams are just our brain's interpretation of the day before, trying to go through and sort everything out. It's not like you're predicting the end of the world, or anything.

  3. The closest word I can come up with is vinaigrette.
