Is there a GOOD time to buy golf clubs at store?

I love the Titleist irons, especially last year's 735 CM. They are expensive, it appears pricing is controlled by factory and is currently "marked down" to about $499.99 at various sites such as TGW and Golfsmith. I am looking at new and used as options. My question is this, is there a GOOD time to buy them at site or stores? This is last year's set and Titleist have new irons out and that's why 735 CM is marked down, I wonder if they will get marked down again in the next few months or will this be the final. I can't imagine this price is the bottom.

  1. Enterprise Golf right after Christmas and before Spring you will get your best price.

  2. usually around fall/winter is the time for discounts or very early spring when the new models start rolling out.

  3. try the site below for some really good deals

  4. Typically a good time to buy golf equipment is late in the year for this year's models.  Last year's models will be marked down all year so if you want something from last year, it will be marked down as you've noticed.  If you wait longer they will be marked down even more.  That is a good price for Titleist clubs though.  Try ebay.

  5. If you find a nice set of sticks, you can afford them, and they are a club fitted for you game, do it.  If you like the 735's, nice sticks by the way, I would try EBay.  The first time a club face hits a ball, it is then considered used, just make sure they are not abuse.  I took a peak on EBay for you, and for round $350, you can grab a used set of these irons.  Just make sure to really read the description closely to assure you get what you want, but there are plenty of options on there.  With golf, if it is good for you game and a confidence booster, just go ahead and get em and enjoy your summer on the links, you'll be glad you did!
