  1. Visit you herbalists and ask about St johns wort  and Valerian. Chamomile tea is good.


  2. Siberian ginseng tones the nervous system and increases your resistance to stress.

    Infusions of lime blossom, catmint, lemon balm or chamomile have a calming effect. A herbalist may suggest taking skullcap, valerian or cowslip as stronger relaxants than the above, or the restoring herb St. John's wort. Oats should be included in the diet.

    Perhaps the most important herb that helps in relaxation is Kava Kava. This herb is used for anxiety, nervousness, insomnia, stress and restlessness.

  3. Rescue Remedy.

    Made from roses, flowers and herbs.

    It helps stress levels, anxiety and concentration. It helped me massively at exam times and other extremely stressful times.

    You can get it from the chemist or health food store.

    A little gose a long way and it REALLY does work.

    I have been buying it for myself and my 12 year old son for years now.

    It's great.

  6. Some teas boast stress reducing effects, go to the tea section in your local supermarket and read the labels for which ones do it. I think it's certain types of black tea but I don't know for sure.

  10. Look into Bach flower remedies, they're quite remarkable.  Rescue Remedy is a very popular type, but there are lots of more specific Bach remedies.
