  1. Not yet unfortunately, Honda claims to be getting one out next year though. Check this site out it tells all about it.

  2. No... but there isn't any hydrogen to run one anyway.

[edit] @Texas Drifter  Where?  Certainly not as H2 in the atmosphere... and the hydrogen that is attached to oxygen in the sea is ALREADY OXIDIZED!  Did somebody miss science class?

Hydrogen may one day be the fuel of choice if a means of production, transportation, and safe storage can be worked out...  Currently we have all three in place for oil.  We also aren't in any danger of running out of oil anytime soon.

  3. GM has a hydrogen fuel cell car that is near production. I think there is one or two other manufacturers as well.  GM is doing a lot of work in this area.

Did someone miss science class?  Hydrogen is the one of the most common gases.

  4. No, and although ubiquitous in water and hydrocarbons, the gas is currently very expensive and nearly impossible to keep in sufficient quantity to re-fuel a car.

I wish everyone would STFU about H2 until 20 years from now when we have the solar and nuke electricity to make it economically and materials science to contain it economically and within size constraints.
