Is there a Job title for A person who advises people on how to do improvements to add value to their home?

I have a keen interest in interior design/landscaping and also the property market, and want a career that could utilise both if these interests.

I know I have seen this in tv and a friend of a friend knows someone who does this, but i dont know if there is a title for a person who will consult with people who are about to sell their homes and would like to do some simple but effective improvements to their home that would signifigantly improve the value and sale price of the property.

If anyone knows anything about this proffession or any idea how to get into it, or what qualifications would be required please answer it would be greatly appriciated.

Property developer - thats where you buy the propertys yourself and improve them to make a profit by selling or renting.

Interior designer - well they design homes.

Estate agent - they advise people how to sell there homes and they sell homes to other people.

Could be financial advisor.

Or it could be a self made title like homes consultant.
