a) with just 2 exams?

b) Or do you first have to take exams 70-536 and 70-528 to earn the MCTS .Net 2.0 Web Applications certification and then take additional "upgrade" exams to upgrade to .Net 3.5?

  1. From what I understand:

To earn your MCTS in .NET Framework 3.5, ASP.NET Applications certification, you must pass one prerequisite and one required exam.  If you currently hold any .NET Framework 2.0 MCTS or Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD) certifications, you have already fulfilled the prerequisite requirement.

One Prerequisite Exam and One Required Exam Needed:

    Prerequisite Exam:

Exam: 70-536 - TS: Microsoft .NET Framework, Application Development Foundation

Course 2956: Core Foundations of Microsoft .NET 2.0 Development (3 days)

Course 2957: Advanced Foundations of Microsoft .NET 2.0 Development (3 days)

    Required Exam:

    Exam: 70-562 – TS: Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5, ASP.NET Application Development Course 6463: Visual Studio 2008: ASP.NET 3.5 (2 days)

    Cheers,

    and

MCTS: .NET Framework 3.5, Windows Communication Foundation Applications
