You know, army reserve, navy reserve...marines reserve?

yes there is a marines reserve. they deploy just like any active duty marines unit. only thing is, you dont live on base, you train one weekend a month, and go for a 2 week training period to the job you choose. if you get deployed, you will still do your job in iraq. if you fix trucks, you will fix trucks in iraq. if you are a cook, you will be a cook in iraq. cool huh. yuh! i had a friend in highschool thats in marines reserve right now he is in his 2nd tour in iraq.

Yes, there is a Marine Corps Reserve.  Their reserve centers are often located with a NOSC (Navy Operational Support Center).
