Yes,  it is called: Six Flags Great Escape Lodge Indoor Water Park.

but the water park open to registered hotel guests, not the general public. =(

Yes, there is one by Lake George (Great Escape and Splash Water Kingdom and Indoor Water Park) which is about 7 hours from NYC.  But, if you mean NYC, the closest one is Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ.  I live in NYC and thats where I go.  It is only like 1.5 hours away.  They have Hurricane Harbor, which is a great water park. Another close water park is Dorney Park.  I actually like it better.  There are lots of tiny ones everywhere such as Splish Splash, or Water World.  Hope this helped.  The first link is to the Lake George water park, the second to Great Adventure, the third to Dorney Park.
