    Greetings from Germany...

  2. Yes, there is one on Strasse 17.Juni.

With your back to the Brandenburger Tor if you walk towards the Siegessäule you'll find it somewhere on the right.

Well, I don't know how is the Japanese memorial in Hawaii like, the Soviet war memorial in Berlin is a large outdoor place with a number of large columns to make an arc. To reach the columns you have to walk through a square with some guns and to go up some steps. On the columnsare written the names of the soldiers in Cyrillic alphabet. You can also go past the columns, but I can't remember what's on the back side of the memorial.
