  1. There are nine towns, and portions of many other cities and towns in Switzerland which are car-free.  See below for a list:

    For example, transportation in Zermatt consists only of trains, and small electric shuttles


  2. Zermatt is car-free. The ride up the mountain is slow due to the train pull, but beautiful.
