  1. An embassy is an outpost of one country to another. Wouldn't make much sense to have a US embassy in the US, would it?


  2. Of course not.  An embassy represents a foreign nation.  Why would the US have an embassy inside the US?

    The US has embassies in other countries.  There is no need to have an embassy in your own country.  You may want to contact the US state department.  They are in charge of all our embassies.

  6. Everyone is correct.  The US Department of State runs the embassies.  Embassies are a single entity that represents a foriegn nation.  Consulates do the same thing, but they fall under the embassy.
