  1. As long as you know what your doing the console should be fine. However some cheats and hacks are unstable and could cause crashes. Using any of these devices screws up your warranty though. So if you were to accidentally ruin it you'd have to buy a new system.

  2. There's no point in playing a game if you are going to cheat. There is no point in. It may be fun to do this but really if your going to buy a game just beat it.

  3. Nope no actualt cheat discs for the PS3, just cheat saves.

In my experience these types of things do not cause your system to crash however as none of the companies (sony, Nintendo, MS) do not like the companies that produce these items they often don't work so well with the console. Like my Action replay and Xploder for my PS2 couldn't be read by my PS2 after a short while even though all my games could.

  4. not that I know :/, action replay has stuff for the PS3 but they are not for cheating, same goes for xbox 360

  5. There isn't a cheat device out yet and there may not be one for quite awhile sadly..  But I have read that some people put in their PS2 Action Replay and when it tries to load a PS2 game with cheats that it will crash.  I don't see how that could hurt the system at all though.  I could be wrong though.  I don't have a PS3 to test...
