Is there a alternative to the synthroid,a More natural form,like a type of food or something?

I would like to stop taking this medication for i have bad acne,and weight gain.I am looking for a type of food to take,so i can stop taking this medication.I had my thyroid removed,and then I was told i would be on the synthroid for the rest of my life.Please help...thanks

  1. i don't know about food. but there is a pill called Armour Thyroid. ask your doctor about it.


  2. Yes it is. Thyroid USP or Armour Thyroid are all names of a natural remedy, which is made out of young healthy pork thyroid. Effective, without the side effects. The only problem is that the levels of T3 are not standard. Kelp does help too.
