Is there a better airplane(s) than the Gripen or modern Typhoon?

I dont quite understand what is so marvellous about the Gripen except that it is rather cute. The Typhoon is mean bird though.

The F-22 Raptor and the Su-35 can be considered better than the Typhoon in most aspects. The prototypes MiG-35 and the Su-47s too are worthy matches.

And how many battles have been won with Gripens, Typhoons, Mig 29s?  The F-22 comes from the designers of the F-15 and F-16 and F-18 which ARE battle tested.  Nobody has ever shot them down.....  why would the F-22 be inferior?
