  1. do which one you would rather play.  if you are a talented golfer I would say go for that....careers in golf can last a lot longer than football

    for golfers

  2. The wonderful thing about golf is anyone can turn pro....it whether you can eat a night that makes the difference.....

Golf is more about individual talent and the six inches between your ears than football.  If you don't get drafted in football there aren't any mini tours you can go out and hone your game......stick with golf....it will open doors for you in the business world....

  3. You are counting your chickens before they are hatched. First get through high school with a dossier which shows talent  as a scholar, and the best in the sport you like. Then see if a Division 1 school will be interested. There are 17,000 high schools with students who have the same idea. It is not the easiest of roads but a scholarship would help.

  4. Just do the math and you'll see that you have a better chance with football.  If you want a scholarship to college, I believe there are 50-60 football scholarships per school compared to 5-10 for golf.  As for being a pro, I don't know the exact number, but I believe each NFL team has a 56-man roster.  Multiply that by 32 teams and you have 1792 spots, each paying a minimum of around $350,000.  Only about the top 200 golfers make that much money.  And the highest paid football players make much more in salary than the best golfers make in winnings.

Also, in football you can find one aspect of the game to work on and be great at, and you'll do well (blocker, kicker, tackler, etc.)  In golf, you have to be great at every part of the game (driving, chipping, putting, sand, etc) or you won't get very far.

  5. What ever you are better at! neitehr will be easier but golf is more Indivdual and you will stand out more if your not a QB, Rb our wideout

  6. Golf has more opportunities.  There are a really limited number of players that get to the NFL, and then that number is diminished by what position you play.  Golf is more up to the individual to just play well.
