i currently have limewire and i download music and shows a lot. but is there a better place for me to download from? like what makes it better than limewire?

Torrents are better for shows...faster,more selection and less virus

people say frostwire which is the  same thing as limewire except it has less/no viruses

I have 2 favorites that I use: Utorrent and BitTorrent. Once installed go to Mininova to search for Movies, music, books, software. Save the Torrent file then open it in one of the programs. I have used it for over a year and never got a virus or trojan. Not to mention very fast speeds.

BitTorrent/μTorrent and a torrent search site like Torrent Reactor or Mininova.

Use Google hacks to search for mp3 indexes, which are folders on web servers with mp3 files. Google "google hacks mp3" for details.

There are a lot of blogs with links to file sharing sites like Rapidshare and Megaupload. Use Google and search for whatever album your looking for + Rapidshare|Megaupload|and any other fire sharing sites you want to look for. You'll find blogs that have a lot of the kind of music you're looking for that you can keep track of and check regularly. Just watch out for "direct download" sites if you want to avoid spyware.

There are many forums like http://www.zona-musical.com/forum1.html that post downloads from those same file sharing sites.

Of course you can also use iTunes (I'm not a fan, it's just the biggest name) and other sites to pay and download legal mp3s.
