  3. mother nature knows best.... we always do well to copy her.

    by encouraging more complex ecosystems or 'guilds' instead of a fragile monoculture, we get more production, every slot used and plants and animals (and fungi!) that support each other, and more redundancy and therefore more resilience.

    and once established, its low maintenance! thats what got me into it, laziness....

I watched the first video, and found several topics he mentioned quite interesting.  It made me think about the profound impact some of the nitrogen-fixing plants in my garden have on their companion plants.  The clip illustrates how by learning a few basic tricks, people could have the most wonderful yards!
