I ask this question because I plan on becoming a doctor, but over the summer I was introduced to the University of Toronto (Canada) and I had never thought of a school outside the US. I am just worried that if I would get a degree outside of the country if that would cause a potential problem with getting a job back in the US. Any suggestions on another program would also be greatly appreciated. By the way, I am only a junior in high school so I still have time

  1. if you get a job or internship over there it is good but if not you are paying double if you go anywhere in Europe because of the exchange rate. you would probably need to stay and work there for a while just because that is how Med school works usually. If you are looking to stay out of the country it is good but if you are going to come back immediately it's probably not wise. The licensing exams are probably different and you'd have to pass them both places.
