Question:

Is there a birth control pill that doesn't kill your s*x drive?

I've taken a few different birth control pills and they've all squashed my s*x drive, so I finally quit taking all birth control about a year ago. However, my skin has gotten so bad that I have decided to maybe start taking birth control again, but I don't want to mess around with my s*x drive again! So I'm looking for some recommendations.

  1. I take YAZ and it doesn't kill my s*x drive at all!

    Good Luck!

  2. The first thing you need to do is figure out why your s*x drive is low and try to help get it back.  I was in your situation and it's not fun without being horny and feeling in the mood when needed.  I also felt like my orgasms (if I would even get one) were really weak.  Probably because of my s*x drive.

However, I tried exercising and dieting but nothing seemed to be working.  I thought I was screwed.  I then found something just as amazing as the vibrator.

My friend at work told me about this stuff she took to raise her s*x drive.  It was a natural herbal supplement and was I lucky to of found it.  Theres no side effects and the s*x drive is just tremendous along with orgasms that are blasting.  The stuff is called Hersolution pills.  At the time I saved money on them at herenhancement.com

What I did was tried out for 3 months and that was really it.  I found taking them every other day or so was the best to stretch it out. After the months were up, I was back to normal with a beating s*x drive and my o****m strength in increased so much.

Well good luck and I hope this helps.

  3. Which ones have you been taking?..

..You should ask doctors about which ones give off a low dose

of estrogen and maybe that might work for you.

I heard the Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo gives low doses of estrogen so maybe that might help.

  4. I take Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo and my s*x drive didn't change at all

  5. First, your name is awesome.

Second, there may be a pill out there that doesn't kill your s*x drive, or you may be able to treat your low s*x drive with hormones.  Testosterone is the hormone that controls s*x drive and it often gets "swamped" by all the extra estrogen and progesterone in the pill.  If your low s*x drive is really a serious problem for you, your doctor may prescribe some low testosterone to see if it helps.

  6. No--if your own unique biology is such that the pill kills your s*x drive, then likely ALL pills will kill your s*x drive, since the same mechanism is at work with all pills. Unfortunately, the same thing that causes your s*x drive also causes acne--it's testosterone. Birth control pills both reduce the amount of testosterone your body produces, and also cause the production of a substance (ShBG) that reduces the usability of the testosterone you DO have. There's a slight chance that the birth control patch might be a bit better in this regard, so you COULD try that, at least. Another thing you could try is a lower dose pill. You're aiming for less estrogen. See this chart: http://www.wdxcyber.com/ncontr13.htm

You can see that the pills with the least estrogen are Levlite, Alesse, and Loestrin. (Forget Mircette--it has less estrogen per day, but you take it for more days, so it evens out). And there's the Ortho Evra patch, as previously mentioned. You could also try Estrostep Fe--it gives you 3 different estrogen doses, some low, some high. BUT: Estrostep has norethindrone acetate as its artificial progesterone. Norethindrone is synthesized from testosterone, so it sometimes has testosterone-like effects. Which means higher s*x drive (but also, maybe, pimples). You could try any of the other types of pills that have norethindrone that are on that list. It likely won't hurt to try them, but if I were you, I'd opt for using a different form of birth control, and seeing a dermatologist about the acne.
