I was wondering if there was a source you could go to to help prepare for certain situations, like you are waiting for a car in front of your to turn left, but there is a car coming from behind you at 40 mph, knowing you are going to get smacked, do you put the car in neutral and hold on, or step on the breaks and hold on. What should you do?

  1. Hold on becuz it's gonna hurt.

  2. Check this site and see if it helps.

  3. There are so many different situations that it would be impossible to enumerate them all but one book does deal with extreme situations.I am referring to "The Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbook.".

  4. You get a thumb's up due to the fact you are looking in the rear view mirror when you are stopped.  Danger can come at you from many directions.

When you stop behind another car, leave your self some extra room.  If you see that car barreling in on you at 40 mph, it the coast is clear, turn the steering wheel and move your car out of the impact area.  If you are on the bumper of the car in front of you, you have no room to maneuver.  My Dad always taught us to leave your self an out, do not all get boxed in.

    Good Luck
