Is there a bourbon that's smoother than Maker's Mark?...don't like k**b Creek.

Maker's is Very smooth...and i like it. just wondering if there is anything that even competes with it.

Maker's Mark is a good starter bourbon, Some of the better ones are 4 Roses, Elijah Craig Single Barrel, Eagle Rare, and Buffalo Trace.

The only problem is that some of these can be difficult to locate and are usually  twice what you paid for Makers.

I bought some Maker's Mark and wasn't that impressed with it. I like Gentleman Jack much better. It's the only one that I can drink straight b/c it's so smooth and mellow.

Basil Hayden is good, but Bookers or Bakers is better.
