I am flying from London Heathrow to FCO in Rome. I then need to fly out of Rome's other airport, CIA. I am looking for an affordable transport service that can do this since a Taxi would be really expensive.

  1. helicopter!!! joke :-) u can take the train to termini (the biggest european station), and there u can take a taxi, or take another train

  2. 1.solution (about 14 euros):

At FCO airport you take the no-stop train to Termini (the biggest railway station in Rome), the ticket costs about 11 euros. The train will arrive at the last platform in the station, so you have to walk and reach the underground "metro A", direction Anagnina (ticket costs 1 euro). Step off in Anagnina (last station), there you can find a bus to CIA (I don't remember exactly how much it costs, but not so much, maybe about 2 euros)

    2. solution (about 8,50 euros)

At FCO airport you take the train to Roma Tiburtina/Orte (the ticket costs 5,50 euros) and step off in Roma Tuscolana. When you are on the station square, you have to go left, cross a street, walk on via Gela and reach the underground "metro A" (station "Ponte lungo"), direction Anagnina (ticket costs 1 euro). Step off in Anagnina (last station), there you can find a bus to CIA (I don't remember exacly how much it costs, but not so much, maybe about 2 euros)

There is also the possibility to take a train from Termini railway station to Ciampino railway station, but from there you have to take another bus to reach CIA (Ciampino airport). I think underground + bus is better.
