  1. Shuttle Direct offers transport service from Malaga Airport to Nerja.

See link below to calculate cost and see available schedule.

OR you could maybe take a train from just outside the airport to Malaga City and then to Merja.

  2. There are a few choices, but no train.

The cheapest transfer is by bus, involving one change.  From Malaga airport, catch the No.19 to Malaga City bus station.  This bus runs throughout the day, every 30 minutes.  From Malaga to Nerja, you would catch the Alsina Graells bus No.631.  This service operates 10 buses between 0815hrs & 1630hrs, and the journey time is 1hr 25mins, price 3.59euros (£2.45p).  After 1630hrs the service changes to No. 634 and there are a further 3 or 4 buses.

An alternative means of transfer to Nerja, would be with either resorthoppa or shuttledirect, which could be a car, mini-bus or coach.  To use either of these you need to book on line.

Resorthoppa charge £61.50 for a maximum of 3 persons.

Shuttledirect charge £58.26 for 2 persons or £57.93 for a single passenger.

The third option would be airport taxi, which would also be the quickest, at just under an hour, and the likely cost around 65-70 euros (£44.00 - £47.00p).  You can check what this should cost as you leave the arrivals hall at Malaga airport.  On leaving & as you approach the taxi area, there is a list of prices to the various destinations on the Costa del Sol, displayed on the wall outside the exit doors.
