Is there a bus that goes Madrid to Blanes? (Costa Brava)?

i don't think so. You have to go first to Barcelona or Girona. Then you can arrive by train (www.renfe.es) or bus.  The train station of blanes is out of town, and there are some buses to blanes and Lloret.... Always is easier the train because you have more information. The bus go directly to Blanes, but i don't remember the Company name.

Another option is rent a car.
