  1. I can't find anything direct

    perhaps you'd like to browse

and see if you can find an intermediate town that would link the two together

  2. I've checked with Salisbury's public transport pages and there's no direct bus service between the two towns. But you can do the journey by public transport using train and bus.

The quickest route (two hours) is:

Train: from Salisbury to Westbury (it's the train towards Cardiff) where you catch the...

Train: to Castle Cary (it's the train heading for Plymouth), where you catch the...

667 bus (Nippy bus service) towards Wincanton, changing at the Crispin Hall stop in Overleigh, where you catch the...

377 bus (First & Avon bus service) to Glastonbury.

The easiest route (2 hr 54 min) is:

Train: from Salisbury to Sherborne, where you catch the...

42 bus (run by South West Coaches) to Yeovil, where you catch the...

377 (First & Avon bus service) to Glastonbury.

You can see the above routes here, http://www.transportdirect.info/Web2/Jou... if you put in your destinations.

    Hope that helps
