Is there a business contact program that tracks/reminds you when to contact people/last time you did?

I am looking for a program that will remind me when the last time I contacted a client through email was so I don't forget to email someone for a month or so. I need to do this with a couple hundred contacts.

Check out ACT! > I've used it & think it's just what you're looking for.  It retails for $230.  But I've seen the 2007 model on ebay for $20.
