Is there a car out there a 6'8" man will fit into both driver and passenger seat??

Question

I plan to look for a car in the near future. I want something good on gas, even a hybrid works for me. I also like the mini. Im a school teacher and a home owner so it has to have some trunk space as well. I also have my other half who is 6'8". Am I asking for the impossible?

Speaking from personal experience...  (6'8" @ 300lbs) I can understand your situation.  

I looked at almost every manufacturer and finally found a very unlikely candidate.  

I purchased a 2007 Chrysler 300 Touring with the 3.5 ltr V6.  it gets about 21-23 around town and about 27-29 on the highway.  I was surprised how well I actually do fit in it.  The six-way electric seat and the tilt-telescopic steering column help a bunch.

Take your other half "shopping".... I think you might be surprised.... I know I was.

Believe it or not, I read once that a very tall man could only find a NISSAN MICRA  a comfortable car to drive. Cant remember wot year/model tho

Not impossible , but close . Only car I could think of for your specs would be a Ford Crown Vic , Mercury Marquis or Lincoln Town Car. These are the only true full American cars left . Mileage isn't all that bad either.
