  1. Your temp can randomly rise and it doesn't mean you have ovulated, your temp has to go up and stay upfor at least 3 days before you can know you have ovulated. You should be able to see a clear thermal shift in your temp.  And no your temp will not stay up if you have NOT ovulated. That is why your BBT is such an acurate way to know if you are ovulating (for most women).
