Is there a certain age you need to be to go on a cruise alone?

Me and my best friend want to go on a cruise for my graduation present. I'm 17 and shes 18 but I dont know if theres a max age you need to be to go without a parent?

Unless you're going to be 18 when you cruise, no way you can go without parents or a chaperone.  

And if you will both be 18+, then your only real option is Disney.  Carnival, RCI, Princess and the others require people to be 21+.

Here is Royal Caribbean's Age Policy:

No guest under the age of twenty-one (21) will be reserved in a stateroom unless accompanied by an adult twenty-one (21) years of age, or older. you mite be able to go with her but for sure get a parent letter of okment thats what me and my 19 and 16 year old cuz did so we couls go with the 19 year old. oh and have a happy graduation
