Is there a certain card you can buy from Rite-Aid that you can use online?

I'm not old enough to have a credit card yet and my parents are less than willing to lend me theirs but my friend told me that there's this card you can buy from (either Rite-Aids or Walgreens- I forget) sort of like a gift card that we spend by purchasing merchandise online. Is it true?

It's called a Greendot card. It's a prepaid card, you can choose either Visa or Mastercard. They charge something like $4.95 a month and I think $9.99 to "charge" the card.
