Is there a certain hair protecting spray I need?

I have pretty thick hair, and I straighten it most of the time.

I'd like something to protect my hair from the heat.

Is there a certain kind of hair protecting spray I need?

Or do they work for all hair types?

  1. the BEST protecting spray:

    Matrix Gold Heat Straightening Spray

Makes your hair soft, sparkily and uber straight!

  2. It should work for all hair types. I suggest using a leave in conditioner and a heat protection spray. When you get out of the shower, clip your hair in sections and spray in the leave in conditioner, it's better to let air dry. If you want to blow dry use the protection spray and your hair dryer on a low heat setting, not too close to your head! Also when you section your hair when you straighten it, use the protection spray. Make sure it doesn't make your hair tacky though. :)

  3. okay its not quite as dramatic as people make it seem.

you can always put in a leave in conditioner and it will protect your hair.

and i use this bottle of pureology

it also helps wiht colourd hair

and it doesnt make your hair stiff like hairspray.

you only need a dime size..

i've been using the same bottle for monthes and i have long thick hair.

  4. U can use sunsilk straightening cream

    it protects and straightens

  5. i dont think there is any made for a specific type of hair but some are supposed to be put on when your hair is wet and some others are supposed to be out on right before you straighten your hair and some can do both

i like to use the loreal brand in a balck container at target for $7

    my hair is curly

  6. I have thick hair too, and I found the best heat protection spray was the GHD one, specially formulated for dry/coarse hair.

    it's about thirteen bucks, you

can even get it at costco.

but if that's too pricy, then try:

and use a leave in conditioner before

you straighten it, it'll even make your hair
