Is there a certain "promise ring" finger?

like how there is a wedding ring finger, is there a promise ring finger or an abstinance ring finger? just curious :)

it's the same as the wedding ring finger but on the right hand instead of the left...at least that's how it was when i was in school

i just wear mine on my ring finger...

or if for some reason i cant (dishes swimming) i slip it onto a chain on my neck

I think it goes on your wedding ring finger.  That's where mine is :)
