  1. if bangalore maintain the same infrastructure..( city infrastructure) for sure hyd will.......and if dayanidimaran stays at the same position for the second time......chennai will overtake both.

  2. Bangalore is already ahead and expanding. MNCs dont go Hyderabad the first time, they go to Hyd when its not easy or affordable in Bangalore or Noida.

Can you say a big MNC coming to Hyderabad?

  3. i think hyd. is now ahead of Banglore in terms of new projects and investments as Bangalore infrastructure is deteriorating day by day

  4. why under estimate?be happy that it shows the development of india, and apply for the job there as soon as possible.

  5. there is one more competetor--coimbatore

  6. Despite all the claims about declining status of Bangalore, it could do well to remind everyone that as per Govt statistics, as at end of Jan 2007, Bangalore received 63% of Startup registration applications - which pretty much explains if any other place has overtaken Bangalore. Hyderabad (as far as IT or ITES is concerned, draws lesser investment than Chennai and Noida) For an industry to flourish, it is not just flyovers or International airports (though they are important) - it is the native advantage (meaning inborn advantage - pleasant climatic condition, culture, availability of trained and skilled manpower, receptiveness of the local population, communal harmony etc). Precisely the reason, Bangalore grew despite the politicians. If you look back, I think it grew the maximum unfer JH Patel, who by his own admission was more concerned with "W"s of life and there was no semblance of government. So despite the reputed traffic jams, it is very early to write off and others can wait. Before Hyderabad catches up or overtakes Bangalore, it has to first do that act in respect of Chennai, Noida, Ahmedabad and now Cpimbatore too.

  7. i dont think so, Hyd cant beat up with bangalore any way.

  8. Ever wondered why the AP government need to give so much perks to invite companies over there?

And note that Hyderabad is good only for small start-up companies while the big ones, I mean the real big ones (Accenture, Honeywell, Intel, Airbus, Microsoft) prefer Bangalore. And pleasant weather is just one of the reasons.

So, Bangalore remains No: 1, Hyderabad needs to fend off challenges from Chennai, Coimbatore and Thiruvananthapuram just to survive, let alone compete.

I am not a Bangalorean, but I'd say, Hyderabad is what Bangalore was 10 years ago. Long way to go pal, and dream on.
