Is there a chance that I will have a small baby?

Question

Both me and my sister were big babies!

I weighed 9lbs 1oz

Sister weighed 8lbs 13oz

My mom weighed 7lbs and my dad weighed about 10lbs.

My partner was a small 6lbs.

What are the chances that I will have a small baby? Share your stories about having small or big babies!

that dont mean that your baby will be small or big because every pregnancy and baby is different

I was 7 lbs 8.5 oz... my baby daddy was 5 pounds even

our children were 7 lbs 9 oz, and 8 lbs 6 oz...

there's always a chance you'll have a small baby, just like there's a chance you'll have a big one.

my first husband was six-foot-four when we met, six-foot-six when our daughter was born and i turfed his [BEEP] for being an abusive moron, and weighed 8lb 2oz at birth.  our daughter was born 23-3/4" long weighing 8lb 14oz (very very skinny, in other words).  she's 22 now and has managed to get from a size MINUS two on her wedding day five years ago to a size three.

my second husband was five-eight, weighed less than 6lb at birth, and our daughter was induced two weeks early (at 36wks) measuring 17" and weighing 8lb 3oz (very very chubby - rolls on rolls!).  she's 19 now and is a statuesque 200lb at five foot six, sevenish.

my third husband is five foot nothing, weighed 7lb even at birth and our daughter, now 35lb at 15mo, was 21-1/2" long at birth weighing 7lb 10oz.

i'm five-two and i weighed 7lb at 2 weeks (no birth weight available cause i went straight to intensive care and in the country i was born, they weren't fussy on weights and measurements until the baby was stabilized).

Congratulations on your pregnancy. Ready..... My mum weighed 7lb 7oz, my dad 8lb.6oz, i am a twin, i weighed 6lb 6oz and my sister 4lb 5oz (4 weeks early). My partner weighed 8lb 5oz and my baby weighed 5lb 7oz (5 days early). I have absolutely no idea what weight your baby will be but to guess i will say 8lb 5oz. Good luck :)

I think it might average out, but you might have the advantage. Your baby will be just fine if you take good care of it. Good luck (If you're having a baby or whatnot.)!
