  1. not even close-I doubt he'll make the 53 man roster. he'll probably play on the practice squad and then come back and play next year

  2. not even.

  3. Well, Jason Campbell is developing rather well, and Todd Collins, well, you saw how good he was last season when he had to start taking snaps (he did an amazingly good job).

The only way I see Colt Brennan becoming the starting QB is if Campbell can't cut it for the Redskins or gets injured and Todd Collins becomes too old to be a full-time starter. But that would probably be a few years down the road.

  4. Yeah, there is a chance ge could be a the starter, most likely, not this year. but in a few years he can devolp. The man broke almost every record in College ever, so obviously he can quarterback. I was a fan of him while he played for Hawaii, and i always thought he could be a solid quarterback in the NFL.

This year is a big year for Jason Campbell, kinda like his "make or break" year. If he doesnt perform and lead the Redskins to a deent season he could be benched. but most likely the Skins will give him this year and next year to show them something. Brennen has to make the 53 man cut (which I know he will, because no team wants to go in to the season whith 1 unproven QB and another Old one) then when he is called up he needs to perform well. In the Hall Of Fame game aginst the Colts he went 9-10 with 100+ yards so the coaches will agknoledge that and will see what he does in the next 4 preseason games and what he does in Camp

  5. no he's released by week1

  6. Not this season. If he continues to impress coaches in practices and preseason games he may well end up as a backup to Campbell, but he definitely isn't going to be starting this season. Brennan obviously has some very important traits that they look for in NFL QBs. He has excellent arm strength, good accuracy and an ability to extend plays by moving the pocket. But he has his fair share of problems, too. His release is slow and he throws the ball side-arm, which takes away from both his power AND his accuracy. He also has a tendency to move the pocket too much, causing the pass protection to break down before it should. Another thing he'll have to work on is setting his feet before he throws. It was evident in the HOF game that he doesn't ever fully set his feet, which is the same fundamental problem that Vince Young has.

Overall, Brennan looked like someone who Jim Zorn will be able to work with and quite possibly mold into a future NFL starter, but he's definitely not ready this season.

  7. NO

  8. Sure there is a chance.  Jason Cambell led them to the playoffs last year so it will be tough, but if he really struggles then Colt could come in.  I guess it depends on if he impresses the coaching staff.  Obviously Jason Cambell could get hurt as well.
