  1. Psmith - the 'P' is silent (but he could always tell when people missed it off).


  2. I think you mean Rupert Psmith (pronounced Smith).  He introduced him in Mike a two piece short for Punch about school based heavily on his own time at school and his cousins' time at Eton.
