Is there a charity that specializes in redistributing waste food to the hungry?

If you mean like left overs from restaurants or banquets I know in my area the local soup kitchens will take it. I would look to shelters and things like that maybe even meals on on wheels would be interested but I don't think there's a specified organization for that.

We have a local one. I don't believe there is a national organization, since "waste food" is so perishable. It's not like you can store it in warehouses for distribution. It's more of an immediate need that is best handled locally.
