Is there a cheap lipid test for fecal/urine samples? (on animals)?

Question

Need to find a way to test for lipids in dog fecal/urine samples for my research project.

Also, how can you tell if there would be more lipids from one to another? (color intensity?)

"rub/smear on a 3 x 3 piece of brown paper bag.  The oils will leave a translucent area, water and alcohols will dry and become opaque.  Small reference standards can be made with olive or peanut oil as well as tap water."
