Is there a cheap way to build a 4 foot yard waterfall and pond?

This would be a great addition to our home, I was wondering if there are any cheap alternatives?

it depends on you idea of cheap.

I have been the happy owner of ponds for 8 years now. my first was a big planter i sealed the holes with water proof silicon and bought a really cheep table fountain tor it apart and with wire suspended it over the planter. i had 2 small gold fish. i liked in an apartment second story so that was all i could do on my little patio.

next i got a real cheep hard plastic pond kit online for like 75 bucks it had a water course and a pump and was good for the small rental place i was in and the whole thing came out of the ground with me when i moved.  

Then i bought a house. I bought a pvc liner at walmart and a pump onling. i used the old molded water course and the old small moldeed pond as the "falls" for my new bigger pond 4'x6' x 18" deep. I had it for 3 years had koi and gold fish and was loving life till the recoons came down off the mountains as everthing burned here in califorina in June.

now i am rebuilding since all of my fish were killed. But low, one month latter there are baby gold fish in my pond!!!

So now its big falls time.

I am using the now every old molded pond as the top and i am building the ground up with the dirt i dig out for the new 1000 gallion koi pond. I am useing the old smaller linener to line the new slop and will use rocks form the woods here to build up the falls and the new small stream. all using stuff i have. the only new addition will be a new 15x15 rubber liner that you can find at a supplier online for about 100 buck.
