That is a ridiculous price for what you get, they should be ashamed. Seriously.

Here's one from IKEA. It's not as cute and the quality will be even worse, but it's cheaper.

Go to a resale store or consignment store.  Yard sales are another possibility.  A lot of them have furniture that's old and interesting.  You can paint all pieces to match.
