  1. maybe try to stay in a place nearby next time?


  2. hitching a ride isnt all as bad as people hear it is, especially if it is daylight and you dont look too shabbily dressed.

    especially in a smaller town, people a bit more trusting.

  3. walking seems fairly cheap

  4. well you can walk on a highway  thats allow if there are no sidewalks you can walk facing traffic, (in otherwords walk on the left side of the road)  by the way what city are you in?

  5. Skateboards, bicycling, roler blades, snowshoing (only in winter), sledding downhill, cross country skiing.....
